This patch was only used against the systems. Forge now contains an update module, ensuring that a Forge product (Exe/DLL/Lib/Core) is always the same version. As this version is now not located in the Forge folder (as all custom versions are), we change our default settings to not overwrite the Forge product for system installations.
Version 16.4.0.0 was applied for this patch. Forge completely changed: via a clever marshaling system, Forge now generates a single installer directly from the Forge definition. The Forge executable now only consists of these helper tools. On the client side, only the Forge executable is required, which can just be copied to the client, thus the application should reach the same requirements as before (and in fact, Forge locally builds a complete installer file). The client side installation is fully automated, just set the needed parameters and the application will run from the moment it is copied the Forge directory. When you launch the application, you get prompted to install the necessary updates.
The executables are now all in the forge/bin folder and one file per Forge product (Exe/DLL/Lib/Core), which are compiled into a single archive (Exe). The installation routine executes the Forge tool explained within, which builds the installer from Forge's definition.
The Licensed Data Formats module replaces Spire's XMI generator. It has interoperability with existing tools like PackStream, and can create both forward and backward data format byte streamors. 7211a4ac4a
